CAPTION TEXT PART 1



When we read newspapers, both printed and electronic, of course, the first thing we pay attention to is the images presented. The reader will find out about the picture by reading the text given to the part of the picture. We will know the events in the image through the text. So it is very important to provide accompanying text (caption) on a published image. Let's practice understanding some accompanying text in the following image (caption).

What is the aim of the text?
The question asks about the purpose of the caption text above. It can be seen that its purpose is to inform readers that music can make love to everyone.

What is the meaning of the sentence?
The question asks what is the meaning of the phrase "the music of love", so it can be seen that the answer is love can be represent by music


Practice:


1. “I can’t change the direction of the wind”.  What does the sentence mean?
2. What does the word adjust means in the caption?
3. What does the words 'sails' mean?
4. How can we reach our destination based on the caption?
5. What do you feel after reading the caption?
